
Peter Kabuki - Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Peter is a seasoned project professional with close to 20 years of experience in Project Finance & Development Advisory, Project Management & Real Estate consultancy. He has worked with leading local and global entities in their respective fields and gained invaluable knowledge and understanding of the African context against a global backdrop. Peter has competence in project structuring, financial modelling & analysis, Business Case design, market and feasibility studies, PPP, climate finance, sustainability in infrastructure and construction project management.
He is a trained Civil & Structural Engineer with postgraduate certification in Project Finance and PPP from Middlesex University. Peter is also an Envision Sustainability Professional, certified by the Institute for Sustainable Infrastructure. He is currently working on his dissertation in conclusion of his Masters In Development Finance at the Strathmore Business School in Nairobi.
Peter is passionate about the role that infrastructure plays as a catalyst for the socio-economic well-being of communities and continues to engage in initiatives aimed at accelerating the provision of much-needed infrastructure and energy solutions in Africa. Key areas of interest include financing solutions particularly those that enhance private sector engagement, knowledge, data and capacity enhancing solutions, as well as sustainability linked solutions.
Peter views Streamstone Africa as a vehicle through which more African voices with rich local knowledge and expertise in infrastructure finance and development can find an avenue to contribute and collaborate within themselves, as well as with global partners in the provision of much needed infrastructure solutions across the continent.

Hottensia Kabuki - Sociologist/Social Safeguards Specialist
Hottensia has close to 15 years of experience in the Infrastructure sector in Kenya. Her roles have included Stakeholder Engagement, Social Impact Assessment Studies, Resettlement Action Plans, Environmental Impact Studies & Audits as well as Occupational Health and Safety, primarily in the energy, transport & housing sectors.
Notable engagements include assignments on the proposed Nairobi Mombasa Highway, the proposed Nairobi-Rironi-Mau Summit Highway, The Nairobi Expressway, Tullow Oil Lake Turkana project, a 214 unit green affordable housing development, as well as a host of proposed projects by leading local oil companies.
Hottensia is a registered Associate Environmental Impact Assessor/ Environmental Audit Expert with the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) with expertise in local environmental and social standards including the EMCA and the Kenyan Occupational Health & Safety Regulations.
She is also well versed with the World Bank Operational Policies, IFC Performance Standards, the Equator Principles and the European Investment Bank’s Environmental & Social Standards having delivered on multiple projects funded by International Development Finance organizations.

Eleanor Oloo - Project Management Expert
Eleanor has over 10 years experience in the full lifecycle management of projects in the commercial real estate, housing, hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing and education sectors. She has notable experience working for a leading architectural firm in Kenya as well as a leading Housing Finance institution in the country.
Eleanor has excelled in project feasibility studies, cost planning, procurement planning & execution, risk analysis & mitigation, contract management, stakeholder engagement & management, project financial management & financial appraisal, value engineering and project team leadership & management.
She has been involved in projects of a diverse ownership and financing structure including privately equity financed projects, debt financed projects, joint ventures as well as projects under the public-private partnerships model.
In addition to Project Management, Eleanor has competence in architecture as well as quantity surveying, holding certification in both in addition to being a registered member of the Board of Registration of Architects & Quantity Surveyors in Kenya. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Development Finance at the Strathmore Business School in Nairobi.

Anthony Wachira - Environmental Specialist
Anthony Wachira is an environmental, health and safety expert with close to 15 years’ experience in design and implementation of Environmental and social management systems. His key areas of expertise include undertaking Environmental & Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs),, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) risk assessments, EHS audits and due diligence and developing Environmental & Social Management Systems (ESMSs). His experience spans a number of sectors including energy, water & manufacturing.
Notable engagements include assignments on a number of hydro power projects, a number of Tullow BV Oil exploration sites assignments, Kenya pipeline and various oil marketers depot and fuel station assignments.
Anthony holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Biosystems engineering from the University of Nairobi and is registered with the National Environmental Management Authority as a Lead Expert. He is also registered with the Professional Trainers of Kenya (PTAK) and is also an associate member of the Environment Institute of Kenya (EIK).
Anthony is conversant with the World Bank’s Environmental and Social Framework (ESF), IFC performance standards on environmental and social sustainability, IUCN Red List of Threatened Species, United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) Mitigation and Adaptation, Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) ratified by Kenya and OSHA’s SOPs for Safety and Health Audits in kenya. He is also familiar with the EIA and public/stakeholder consultation requirements.
